Wine Tasting Notes
The nose combines a touch of minerality from the cooler sites, while rich, ripe notes of golden pear, papaya and mango are from the inland, more continental climates. Flavors of Golden Delicious apples, Meyer lemons, tropical fruits and sweet cream are balanced with crisp acidity and a silky mouthfeel. The finish lingers with notes of vanilla and coconut from the barrel fermentation. The rich texture and bright fruit of the Chardonnay make it a perfect wine for sipping alone, or an easy pairing with grilled halibut, creamy cheeses, roast chicken or cream-based pasta dishes.
