Viuda de Sanchez Sangrita is authentic sangrita from Mexico. It is owned by Casa Cuervo and is by far the best selling sangrita in Mexico. Although it looks like a Bloody Mary Mix, it is much different in taste and ingredients. There are no tomatoes in sangrita; the red color comes from chili de arbol. It refreshes and cleanses the palate after each sip and enhances the taste of your favorite Tequila. The most popular way to consume Viuda de Sanchez is to sip alongside a good tequila and some lime; this is known as a Bandera (Mexican Flag - Green, White Red).

Lived in Mexico for many years and can't imagine having a shot of tequila without a La Viuda de Sanchez chaser. This is the real deal.

Viuda de Sanchez is one of the best Sangritas on the market and probably the most authentic. It goes great with some good tequila or after a shot of not so good tequila.

Sangrita, particularly Viuda de Sanchez, is a great complement to Tequila. The traditional mexican way to drink it is having a shot of freshly squeezed lime juice, a shot of tequila and a shot of sangrita. You should drink a sip of each and mix them in your mouth and then swallow. Excellent!!!
