Wine Spectator Review
Quite lush in feel, with creamy waves of plum sauce, melted black licorice, açaí berry reduction and sweet toast rolling through, laced with subtle alder and bay leaf notes and ending with a sanguine hint amid the fruit. The buried structure will carry this in the cellar as well. Drink now through 2032.
Jeb Dunnuck Review
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon One Point Five is brilliant, and up with the creme de la creme at the price point. Lots of cassis, graphite, unsmoked tobacco, new leather, and cedar notes all give way to a medium to full-bodied, elegant, beautifully balanced 2018. As with all these 2018s, it shows the pure, elegant style of the vintage and is going to age gracefully.
Wine Tasting Notes
One Point Five is aromatically bright and overflowing with elegant, energetic flavors of red summer berries, black cherry, rose petal, and red and black plum, along with mocha, cinnamon, and spices. The seamless, silky tannins create a lush mouthfeel now and hold the promise for more riches to come with careful cellaring.
