Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz shows garnet, crimson red in color. Intense aromatic lift. Mixed berry compote drizzled over custard. Cinnamon lightly dusted. Butchers shop pork and fennel sausage. Perfumed aniseed, cardamon and clove. Fresh raspberry and rhubarb giving the wine a juicy, bright succulence on the palate. A creaminess reminiscent of French pastries French oak influence. Cinnamon dusting follows building texture. A fleshy mid palate, structural, powdery tannins. Well integrated and balanced.

  This is my "go to" wine for weekday glasses. It has a great body and bold flavors (which i prefer)

  This is an easy bottle to have around. Great body and taste, screw top easy access. I use it as an everyday drinking wine for a reasonable price
