Lagavulin 16 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch 750ml
- Calculated at Checkout
Deep golden amber. Outstanding aromas fill the glass with smoky peat, Sherry wood and sea salt. Extraordinarily perfumed. Moderately full-bodied with a viscous mouthfeel. A sweet Sherry note on entry and complex dry peaty flavors lingering on the finish. A sumptuous combination of luxurious mouthfeel and assertive flavors and aromas.
I began drinking Single Malt Scotch on a trip to Scotland in 2005. While at the Oban Distillery I asked for a sample of the smoothest single malt scotch and was given a sample of Dalwhinnie...very smooth. Then I asked for the Best Single Malt with a Peat background and was given a sample of Lagavulin and the love affair is still going strong...I urge everyone to try it.
