A fresh, clear anise aroma, a milky color, and a rooty, earthy flavor. Smooth and very full flavored with a refreshing edge that makes this exellent in the summertime. Pastis is traditionally drunk with a dash of water.

Prado pastis is the stuff that ordinary Frenchmen drink at the end of the day while playing petanque. If they want to get fancy they'll order a Ricard or a Pernod or even a (shudder) Henri Bardouin but this pastis tastes great, hits the spot and costs a lot less.
