Flaunting a deep red color, our Coleccion Privada Merlot opens with fragrant aromas of spices and red fruits. Bright plum and fresh cherry greet the front of the palate, extending into the finish with undertones of white pepper and subtle baking chocolate. Soft, round tannins hold the body of this wine, which lingers with a long, satisfying finish. The wine pairs well with the creamy, earthy flavors of a mushroom risotto, as well as with poultry and pork.
