The Daou Celestus is a perfect example of what happens when the Rhone and the Bordeaux blends come together to form complex flavors that create a masterpiece. This is the first vintage where Daniel decided to increase the amount of Syrah in our Celestus blend and the result is a wine that has plenty of black fruit, licorice, mint and earth characteristics with great intensity, remarkable purity and a luscious velvety mouth feel with an excellent balance. The Petit Verdot addition helps create a strong mid palate to compensate for the harmony created between the Cabernet and the Syrah. Cabernet Sauvignon 80%, Syrah 15% and Petit Verdot 5%
