90% viura and 10% malvasia; all new French Allier barriques Greenish yellow. Oak-spiced aromas of tangerine, pear and candied lemon, with a smoky, leesy quality gaining strength with air. Broad and fleshy, with ripe orchard fruit flavors, a touch of lemon rind and a supple texture. Bitter citrus and anise qualities linger on a persistent, palate-staining finish. Shows a lot of depth and complexity for the money.
